ZEBULON - Richard “Ricky” Edwards, 60, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at WakeMed. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, July 2) at New Knightdale Baptist Church cemetery, Mailman Road, Knightdale, with Pastor Tim Hopkins officiating.

He was born to the late James Berbon Edwards and Helen Poole Edwards.

Surviving: sister, Cheryl Edwards Bunn of Zebulon; two nieces and one nephew; and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Edwards, and a brother, Ronnie Edwards.
