ZEBULON - Bettie Sue Williams Creech, 71, died Wednesday night, Nov. 1, at WakeMed. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 4) at Union Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Calvin Thomas and Ia Helen Griffin Williams. She worked with Kemper Insurance for 45 years before retiring.

She was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.

Surviving: her husband, Lawrence L. “Mann” Creech Sr.; son, Lawrence L. Creech Jr.; sisters, Gloria Hawkins (Bobby), JoAnn Vaughn, and Phoebe Pace, all of Zebulon; and one granddaughter.
