LOUISBURG – Hunter Allen Evans, Jr., 70, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2011 at his home.

He was the son of the late Hunter Allen and Eddie Marshell Greenway Evans. He was a retired equipment operator with the city of Raleigh.

Surviving: his daughter, Melissa Briggs of Zebulon; sister, Judy Tart of Knightdale; and four grandchildren.
