WASHINGTON, DC — Ramella Wilkins Jones, 87, died Friday, July 29, 2011.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington DC.  Burial will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Arthur Staten Wilkins and Lilla Pulley Wilkins. She was married to the late Roger W. Jones. 

Surviving: sons, Donald L. Jones of Wheaton Md., and Jerome G. Jones of Washington, DC; sister Inez W. Foster of Spring Hope; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Arrangements are by McGuire Funeral Services, Washington DC.
