WAKE FOREST - Lynn Sherron, 36, died suddenly Sunday, April 9, 2006. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, April 12) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest.

Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Sherron earned a bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Meredith College in Raleigh. At the time of her death, she was director of the Franklin Campus Child Care Center, Vance-Granville Community College, Louisburg, which she opened in 1998. She was also the Franklin County Partnership for Children Advisory Board treasurer and Franklin-Granville-Vance Partnership for Children (Smart Start) board member.

Surviving: husband, Michael W. Sherron, and daughter, Cassidy Sherron of the home; her mother, Katherine D. Edgerton of Youngsville; her father, James F. Edgerton (Ann); her paternal grandmother, Mary Edgerton; and her paternal great grandmother, Mae Taylor, all of New Bern.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, James B. Edgerton of New Bern, and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Danford of Wilmington.
