KITTRELL - Funeral services for Gerald “Chevy” Hedgepeth, 42, who died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Mitchell Baptist Church, with Dr. Daniel Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Alyia Hedgepeth of Carteret, N.J., Ger’idya Hedgepeth of Louisburg, and Destiny Hedgepeth of the home; son, Gerald Bullock of Youngsville; mother, Mary Coleman of the home; father, Jimmy Gerald Alston of New York; sister, Katrina Coleman of Raleigh; and one grandchild.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
