HENDERSON - Funeral services for Henry “Roosevelt” Williams Jr., 83, who died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, in the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Louisburg, with Rev. Langley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Shirley Foster-Brown of the home; daughter, Mildred Williams of New York; stepdaughter, Tonya Smith of Warrenton; son, Reggie Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; stepsons, John S. Foster III of Henderson and Calvin Walker of New Jersey; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
