HASELTINE A. WALKER


SUMTER, S.C. - Haseltine Antley Walker, 82, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bullock Funeral Home Chapel, Sumter, S.C., with the Rev. Clay Smith officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Walker was born in Cope, S. C., the daughter of the late Rufus and Alberta Antley. She was retired with 25 years civil service at Shaw Air Force Base.

Surviving: daughters, Glenda Puzewski and husband, Chief Master Sgt. John Puzewski of Sumter, S.C., and Elaine Kirkpatrick (Col. Craig) of Hendersonville; one son, Dr. Cecil Murray Walker III (Julie) of Farmville, formerly of Louisburg, sister, Martha Miller of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Murray Walker Jr.; a grandson; four sisters; and one brother.
