RALEIGH - Rebecca Morton Nodden, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at Rex Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Born in Franklinton, she was the daughter of the late King Duncan Morton and Susie Ella Peace Morton. She graduated  as Salutatorian of her senior class. She worked the last 20 years at Al Smith Buick. She was a member of Franklinton Methodist Church.

Surviving: daughters, Wendy Leigh Harris of Raleigh and Kimberly Harris Cole of Centennial, Colo; brother, David Earl Morton (Shirley) of Raleigh; and one granddaughter.
