FRANKLIN, VA - David Charles Moore, 45, died suddenly on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011.  A funeral was held Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home in Franklin, Va., with the Rev. James W. Ricks officiating. Interment followed in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Reesa Gilbert Moore; mother, Patricia Moore Raschen of Spring Hope; father and stepmother, Charles and Pennie Moore of Spring Hope; daughters, Ashley Patricia Moore and Amanda Lee Moore, both of Oklahoma, Cailynn Suzanne Moore and Sylvanna Faye Bocook of Franklin, Va.; brothers, James “Jimmy” Elwood Jessup of Louisburg, John Albert Jessup of Raleigh, and Joseph Lee Moore of Spring Hope.

The family suggests memorials be made to Brittany’s Battle, Inc. at 4621 Low Ground Court, Garner, NC 27529.
