CASTALIA – Anne Gupton May, 73, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning at her home.

Anne was the daughter of the late Robert Clyde and Ethel Lue Wood Gupton and was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Rogers May.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Red Bud Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Scarlett and Wayne Cottrell, 2347 NC Hwy. 39 N., Louisburg.

Anne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Scarlett and Wayne Cottrell of Louisburg; son and daughter-in-law; Phil and Mattie May of Epsom; grandchildren; Christy and husband, Scottie Zimmerle, Dwayne Cottrell, Ashley and Heather May; great-grandchildren; Micah and Mayci Zimmerle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bud Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1284 NC Hwy. 58, Castalia, NC 27816.
