LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Annie Laverne B. Miles, 45, who died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Spivey family cemetery.

Surviving: husband, James Edward Miles; daughters, Delores Lewis and Christina Johnson, both of Henderson; son, James Miles Jr. of Henderson; stepfather, Ellis Wardrett of Greensboro; sister, Nicole Burgess of Castalia; brother, James Burgess Jr. of Louisburg; and eight grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 3 to 8 p.m.
