LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Shirley W. Hopkins, 57, who died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, with the Rev. Carl Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Haywood Baptist Church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Frank A. Hopkins of the home; sons, Kemp McCray Chavis and Albert Chavis, both of Louisburg, Quincy Hopkins of Kittrell and Kendrick Hopkins of Durham; mother, Dorothy Williams Chavis of Franklinton; sisters, Priscilla Ann Perry of Franklinton, Roberta Clax of Raleigh and Regina Wilder of Henderson; and 16 grandchildren.
