HENDERSON - Funeral services for Lillia Southerland, 83, who died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Rowland Chapel Christian Church, with the Rev. Isaac Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Edith Gravely of Arlington, Va., and Paulette Parker of Jacksonville, NC; son, Larry Blacknall of Louisburg; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
