YOUNGSVILLE - Jerry Warren Roberts, 65, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at his residence. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County, son of Mabel Cash Roberts and the late Charlie “C.H.” Roberts. He was a past vice president of Benson Aircraft Company.

Surviving: sons, Alan Roberts (Patricia) of Knightdale, Jay Roberts (Heather) of Youngsville; mother, Mabel C. Roberts of Youngsville; sisters, Paulette  Avett (Jim) of Cary, Debbie Wise (Doug) of Smithfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Flat Rock Baptist Church Building Fund, 1529 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
