FRANKLINTON —Joyce Goswick Roberts, 81, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton.

She was the daughter of the late Henry Goswick and Hixie Wheeler Goswick. She was a lifetime member of Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church, founding president of Franklinton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the owner of Roberts’ Septic Cleaners.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Roberts; and sons, Albert Roberts and Dean Roberts.

Surviving: daughter, Denise R. Roberts; son, Craig G. Roberts, both of Franklinton; many nieces and nephews.
