YOUNGSVILLE —Donald “Bill” Lowery, 73, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at his home after a 17-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Unity Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Good Hope Baptist Church cemetery.

He was the owner of Donald Lowery Tree Service.

Surviving: wife, Sarah Mitchell Lowery; son, James Lowery (Jennifer) of Franklinton; sister, Pat Cochran of Mooresville; brothers, Bud Lowery (Clara) of Franklinton and Lynn Lowery (Liz) of Wake Forest; and one granddaughter.
