FRANKLINTON—   Funeral services for Rashad “Shad Knight” McKnight, 17, who died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Kinches Christian Church, with the Rev. Willie R. Nixon III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: parents, Timothy and LaTonya Coley of the home; sisters, Sydkitra Higgs of the home, Paris Botts and Shaniece Botts, both of Wake Forest; brothers, Kenmarion McKnight  of the home, Shyheem Mitchell of Wake Forest and A. J. of Raleigh; stepbrother, Timothy Coley of the home; maternal grandmother, Gloria McKnight of Henderson; paternal grandmother, Christine Black of Raleigh; paternal step-grandparents, Louis and  Margie  Coley  of Franklinton; special father figure, Sidney Higgs of Kittrell.
