SAMMY WATSON

FRANKLINTON - Samuel Lee “Sammy” Watson, 62, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011. He was born in Granville County and was the son of the late Myrtle & John Edny Watson, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday Dec. 4, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Brenda; son, Samuel Lee Watson, Jr. of Franklinton; stepdaughter, Tasha Mangum (Trent) of Raleigh; stepson, Rodney Jones (Theresa) Childress of Franklinton; sister, Gloria Mason (Larry) of Franklinton; brother, Carl “Bo” Watson (Becky) of Franklinton; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Eloise Pendleton and Janet Outland, and by his brother, John Edny Watson, Jr.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
