ZEBULON -  Gene Fuller, 74, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011. Funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 12, at Wakefield Central Baptist Church, with interment following in Wakefield cemetery.

A native of Johnston County, he was son to the late James Barbee and Mollie Morris Fuller. He was retired from Fred Whitaker Co. after more than 40 years of service.

Surviving: wife, Betty Kimball Fuller of the home; sons, Greg Fuller (Lisa) Ron Fuller and Don Fuller (Cris), all of Zebulon; siblings, Wayne Fuller (Helen) of Hildebrand, Faye Carter (Dennis) of Raleigh; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wakefield Central Baptist Church, Building Fund, or a charity of choice are welcomed.
