LOUISBURG – Bobby Ray Young, 74, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 21, 2011. A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 23, at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Mosher officiating.

He was a son of the late John L. Young Sr. and Luttie Boone Young and was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Young; sister, Delphy Ann Tharrington; brother, John L. Young, Jr..

Surviving: son, Craig Young; sisters, Faye Wright, Glynn Swindell, and Mildred Darcourt.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Piney Grove U.M.C., 2240 NC 39 Hwy. N., Louisburg, NC 27549.
