LOUISBURG – Earl Horace Hartsell Jr., 84, died Thursday night, Dec. 29, 2011. There will be no service.

He was a son of the late Earl H. and Pearl Connell Hartsell Sr. He retired with the Franklin County Library and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
