ZEBULON - Nora Perry Buffaloe, 79, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at her home. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church, 8225 Mitchell Mill Road, Zebulon. Burial will be in the Rolesville Baptist Church cemetery, W. Young St., Rolesville.

She was born in Wake County to the late Luther Bryant Perry and Rosa Perry Perry. She was married to the late Luny Lafayette Buffaloe and together they farmed Buffaloe Farms all their lives.

Surviving: sons, Michael E. Buffaloe, David L. Buffaloe (Cindy), all of Zebulon; brothers, Roscoe Perry of Raleigh, Luther Howard Perry of Rolesville; sisters, Mary Price, Josephine “Jo” Alford, both of Zebulon; one granddaughter; two step-grandsons; and two step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Crocker Perry, and a sister, Doris P. Hurt.
