He is now with his mother in heaven, whom he loved very much. He was a loving father, son and brother.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Sandria Deen McKinney.
A funeral service was held 7 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family received friends 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial was held 10 a.m. Monday at Raleigh Memorial Park.
He is survived by his son, Robert Strother; father, Robert H. Strother; stepmother, Joyce B. Strother; sister, Brady Smith; brother-in-law, Pace Smith; brother, Ronnie Boykin; sister-in-law, Rebecca Boykin; nieces, Sandy Smith and Savannah Smith; nephews, Christopher Boykin and Daniel Boykin.
