NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Willie Bell Boone, 89, who died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Linda Taybron officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Bertha Counto of Rocky Mount, Alberta Eddie of Yonkers, N.Y., Lois Boone of Raleigh and Peggy Johnson of Nashville; sons, Roy Boone of Rocky Mount, Charles Boone of Philadelphia, Pa., Henry Boone of Nashville, William Boone of Rocky Mount, Willie Roger Boone of Enfield, Eugene Boone of Port Chester, N. Y., and Robert Earl Boone of Raleigh; sisters, Lola Silver of Louisburg, Martha Silver of Centerville and Ruthie Mae Harrison of Castalia; brother, Claude Richardson of Warrenton; 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
