BUNN - Shirley Cone Dement, 76, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Haley officiating.  Interment will follow in Bunn Cemetery. 

She was retired from Westinghouse with 25 years of service. She also worked with Louisburg Nursing Center as the assistant activities director for 10 years and was an Avon representative for over 40 years. 

Surviving: son, Steve A. Dement (Faye) of Bunn; daughter, Clareese D. Moss (Bobby) of Epsom; brother, Billy Cone (Faye) of Wilson; special friend Larry Timberlake of Youngsville; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1960 Tarboro Road, Youngsville, NC  27596.
