BUNN - Mrs. Edith Elizabeth Rogers Wright, 65, died Monday, April 10, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Bunn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was he daughter of the late Luther and Martha Rogers. She was married to the late Johnny Oliver Wright Sr.

Surviving: daughters, Marcia Y. Wright of Louisburg, Elizabeth A. Wright and Norma J. Wright, both of Bunn; sons, Dexter W. Wright (Elizabeth), Terry M. Wright (Bonnie), Daniel J. Wright (Cheryl), and Darryl E. Wright, all of Bunn, Tony M. Wright (Sandra) and Chester B. Wright, both of Raleigh, and Johnny O. Wright Jr. (Pamela) of Zebulon; sisters, Roberta Purcell (John) of Knightdale and Dorethea Burrell (William) of Raleigh; brothers, Hubert Rogers (Thelma) of Capitol Heights, Md., Henry Rogers (Gloria) of Bunn, and David Rogers (Shirley) of Goldsboro; 27 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today (Saturday, April 15) from 3-7 p.m. at William Toney’s Funeral Home in Zebulon. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m.
