ANNIE BELLE PIPER


FRANKLINTON— Annie Belle Piper, a former resident of Garden Walk in Henderson, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Feb. 17, at Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church in Henderson, with the Rev. Cleveland Harrison and the Rev. Bobby Piper officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

She was a native of Wake County and was the daughter of the late Lee and Annie Piper.

Surviving: son, Ronald Piper of Henderson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Tharrington; brothers, Johnnie, Sam, Owen, Otha, Freddie and David Piper; and sisters, Zonie Wheeler, Allie Mae Jones and Lillian Pearce.
