LOUISBURG - Mary Magdaline Wall Perry Leonard, 90, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at Louisburg Nursing Center. The funeral services was conducted Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Greater Pentecostal Church, Raleigh, by Bishop Claude Cooke. Burial followed at Walnut Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Clarence and Lula Bell Wall. She was educated in the Franklin County public school system. She was a licensed evangelist.

Surviving: seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Hopson Perry and Edward Leonard; daughter, Mary Davis; a son, Michael Perry; nine siblings, Elizabeth Hurdle, Pauline Jeffreys, Daisy Beauford, Claude Wall, Betty Saunders, Gladys Perry, George Wall, Clarence Wall and Betsy Wall; and three grandchildren.
