LOUISBURG - Donnie Barlow Griffin, 85, died March 8, 2012 at Rex Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Entombment will follow in Historic Oakwood Cemetery of Raleigh.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Bruce Barlow & Mary Lillian Blackwood Barlow, and was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving: husband Robert J. “Bobby” Griffin Jr.; sons, Robert J. “Robbie” Griffin, III (Linda) of Louisburg and William Edward “W.E.” Griffin  (Kim) of Raleigh; sisters, Helen Sanderford  of Wake Forest and Erma Southerland (Dan) of California; and four grandsons.

Memorial contributions may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1529 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
