WENDELL – Laura Frances Richardson Culp, 95, formerly of Robinwood, died Sunday, March 11, 2012. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, in the Strickland Funeral Home chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, with visitation  from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Pennsylvania  at a later date.

A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Harris and Lizzie Tazwell Cooke Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Muggsy” Culp; siblings, Hallie Barham, Nellie Chamblee, Dot Conklin, Allene Creech, Purvis Richardson, Macon Richardson and John Robert Richardson.

Surviving: son, Wayne Culp  (Carolyn) of Washington Crossing, Pa.; daughters, Frances Foret  (“J”) of Lake Royale, and Grace Sample (Ron) of Lambertville, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren,
