WENDELL – Barbara Strickland Williams, 58, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, with visitation from 1:30 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Bailey Town Cemetery.

A native of Nash County, she worked at WakeMed. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee Strickland.

Surviving: son, David Williams of the home; mother, Eldie Eatmon Strickland; siblings, Roger Strickland (Marie), Anita Allen, all of Zebulon, and Donna Osgood (Oz) of Deltona. Fla.

Flowers accepted or memorials to a charity of choice.
