YOUNGSVILLE - Geraldine R. Koonce, 68, died Wednesday morning, April 4, 2012 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Town Cemetery.

She was born in Cook County, Ill., daughter of the late Bernice Gorak Delonka and Steve Delonka. She was a retired manager for Jewelry Exchange of Illinois.

Surviving: husband, Phillip Koonce; daughter, Linda Koonce of Youngsville; son, John Koonce of Raleigh; brother, Stephen Delonka Jr. (Ilene) of Shumberg, Ill.

Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St., Wake Forest.
