LOUISBURG - Ardist Ray Whitaker, 76, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Franklin Oaks Nursing Center.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 14, at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park, with Dale Lawrence officiating. 

Surviving: wife, Paula M. Whitaker; sons, Ken R. Whitaker (Dineane) of Plymouth, Todd Whitaker (Mary Charles)  of Louisburg; sister, Joyce Hamilton of Troy; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.
