CENTERVILLE - Funeral services for Linwood James, 80, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Uniontown Disciples of Christ Church, with the Rev. Bernard Holliday officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: two daughters, Angela James Herring of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Sandra James Hill of Chesapeake, Va.; two sons, Kenneth James Sr. of Washington, D. C. and Johnny James of the home; sisters, Lucresia Miller of Atlanta, Ga., Shirley Holliday of Creedmoor, and Glennie James of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, John Lee James of Rocky Mount, John W. James of Washington, N. C., and Ulysses James of Turnersville, N. J.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
