WENDELL - Gerry “Moon Pie” Cormier, 54, died Sunday, April 15, 2012. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Strickland Funeral, 211 W. Third Street, Wendell, with a gathering at  8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.He was the owner of Triangle Driving School. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Gerald Cormier, and a brother, Charlie.

Surviving: wife, Joan Hendrickson; daughters, Katie Tharrington (Monie) of Castalia, Tara LaCour (Kjay) of Pine Level and Nailil Martinelli; mother, Elisabeth Stiewing Cormier; siblings, Frances Stabb (Joachim) and Yvonne Hale; and five grandchildren.
