FRANKLINTON — Peter William Wheeler, 55, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at New Light Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a member of New Light Baptist Church.

Surviving: wife, Kim Rochelle Wheeler; sons, John Wheeler and Justin Wheeler, both of Franklinton; daughter, Stacy Wheeler of Florida; father, Edward H. Wheeler of Norfolk, Va.; brothers, William Wheeler (Tina) of Suffolk, Va., and Wayne Wheeler of Norfolk, Va.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Wheeler, and a brother, Butch Wheeler.

Friends may visit with the family 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
