LOUISBURG – Josephine Grissom Finch, 91, died Sunday morning, April 29, 2012. A funeral service was held Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kellie Gallagher-Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was one of nine children of the late Edward Ernest Grissom and Elizabeth Oakley Grissom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Sweet” Finch, and all of her sisters and brothers. She was born in Vance County and had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1949.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
