LOUIS WOLOZIN


TIGNALL, Ga. - Graveside services for Louis Wolozin, 96, who died Sunday, April 29, 2012, were held Thursday, May 3, at Fishing Creek Baptist Church cemetery in Tignall, Ga., with the Rev. Roy Cates officiating.

He was born in Galicia, Austria, to George and Sophie Lokztch Wolozin. He served in the U. S. Army/Merchant Marines in WWII. He was a retired auto mechanic and had been a business owner/operator in Miami, Fla.

Surviving: daughters, Barbara Wolozin Craig (John) of Chestertown, Md., and Jo Ann Wolozin Fisher of Louisburg; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; stepson, John Morgan Waters (Jackie) of Buford, Ga.; stepdaughters, Nonie W. Yochim (John) of Tignall, Ga., and Kathy Robertson (Dale) of Winder, Ga.; four step-grandchildren; five great-step-grandchildren; and two great-great-step-grandchildren.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
