LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Herman W. “Doc” Wilkins, 86, who died Thursday, May 3, 2012, will be held at noon on Thursday, May 10, at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Hosie T. Starr III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Rosa W. Johnson of Bunn; sons, the Rev. Jordan H. Wilkins of Louisburg, William B. Wilkins of London, England, and Harry M. Wilkins of Goldsboro; sister, Maggie Neal of St. Albans, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
