LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Reese Hardie Thomas, 84, who died Sunday, June 3, 2012, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Carolyn Thomas of Warrenton, Denise Morgan of Nashville, Phyllis Thomas of the home, Ceatrice Thomas of Louisburg and Paula Thomas of Henderson; sons, Robert Thomas of Nashville, Reese Thomas Jr. of Greenville and Michael Thomas of Louisburg; brother, Tessie Thomas of Louisburg; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 8.
