RALEIGH - Funeral services for Luvenia Harris, who died Thursday, June 21, 2012, were held Tuesday, June 26, at Redeeming Love Missionary Baptist Church. Interment was in Carolina Biblical Gardens.

Surviving: husband, Chester Harris of the home; daughters, Sharon Thorpe (Marshall) and Jacqueline Smith (Jonathan), both of Raleigh; sons, Donald Harris (Ann) of Raleigh and Ronald Harris of Youngsville; sisters, Annie Wheless of Maryland and Mayola Williams of Raleigh; brother, Johnnie Clemons of Delaware; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
