YOUNGSVILLE - Mrs. Jennifer Kirkpatrick Wood, 37, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church in Pleasant Garden, N.C. Interment followed at Gilmore Memorial Park.

Jennifer was born in Fulton County, Ga., on April 17, 1969. She was a CNA-2 and was formerly employed with Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. She was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church in Youngsville.

She is survived by her parents, Jack and Elizabeth Anne Akin Kirkpatrick of Greensboro; children, Ruth Ann Wood, Jason Wood and Emily Wood of Youngsville; sister, Melanie Thomason and husband Mark of Youngsville; brother Tom Kirkpatrick and wife Maggie of Knoxville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
