ROCKY MOUNT— Funeral services for Walter Wright Jr., 51, who died Sunday, June 24, 2012, will be held Saturday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Haywood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Stanley Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Caroline Wright of the home; daughter, Wanda Jean Williams of Raleigh; sons, Travis Wright and Walter Wright III, both of Rocky Mount; mother, Ionas A. Wright of Louisburg; sisters, Margaret Foster, Geraldine Mitchell and Ethel Kearney, all of Louisburg; brothers, Wilbert Wright, MacDonald Wright, both of Louisburg, Joe Wright of Charlotte, Bernard Wright and Phillip Wright, both of Bunn; and six grandchildren.
