ZEBULON - Billy Charles Harris, 74, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County to the late Miller Rose Harris and Claudia Carter Harris. He was a veteran of the National Guard and a member of Beulah Christian Baptist Church.

Surviving: wife, Sue Pearce Harris; daughter, Rita Harris Cox (Ron) of Louisburg; son, Billy W. Harris (Toni) of Rolesville; sister, Phyllis Strickland (Thomas) of Rolesville; brother, Ronald Harris (Kaye) of Wake Forest; and four grandchildren.
