CASTALIA - Hattie Inscoe Murphy, 91, of the White Level Community, died Sunday night.

Hattie was the daughter of the late Joseph Merritt and Annie Davis Inscoe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zollie L. Murphy, and brother, Clifton Inscoe.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at White Level Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Hattie is survived by her son, Ray Murphy of the White Level Community; grandson, Brandon Murphy; great-grandson, Kamden Murphy, both of Bunn; several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2400 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
