FRANKLINTON - Edwin Ronald Williams, 48, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 26, at First Baptist Church, Franklinton. Private interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Franklinton.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of James F. and Edna Albritton Williams. He worked as a cosmetologist in New York, N.Y., Raleigh, Durham and Franklinton.

Surviving: mother and stepfather, Edna and Jasper Dause of the home; a brother, James Williams of London, England; four aunts; one uncle; a number of cousins.

A brother, Michael Williams, and a sister, Floreiss DeShields, preceded him in death.
