HENDERSON - Barry Stewart Vick, 42, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012. A memorial graveside service was held Monday, Sept. 3, at Lancaster Memorial Park in Louisburg, with the Rev. Matthew Bowden officiating.

A native of Vance County, he was the son of the late Carl Richard and Jeanette Jeffreys Vick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Wayne Vick.

Surviving: stepmother, Betty  Vick  of  Norlina; stepsisters, Wanda Gaither of Clayton, Patricia Owen (Jimmy) of Warrenton and Ruthanne Stevenson (Russell) of Henderson; stepbrother, Allen Woodlief (Patricia) of Warrenton; one aunt and two uncles.
