HENDERSON —Funeral services for Mable Irene Macon, 71, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, will be held at noon on Monday, Sept. 10, at Rowland Chapel Christian Church, with the Rev. John Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowland Chapel church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, James E. “Nig” Macon of the home; daughters, Gloria Lassiter and Joyce Macon, both of Henderson, and Donna Macon of the home; mother, Annie Mae Rainey of Henderson; sisters, Jackie Cheatham of Kittrell and Jeanette Delores Berry of New York; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
