YOUNGSVILLE —Sallie Chappell Finn, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at Louisburg Nursing Center. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Jackson family cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Charles George Chappell and M. Belle Ayscue.

Surviving: daughter, Patricia Finn Jackson of Youngsville; sons, Walter Horace Finn of Franklinton, John Finn of Louisburg and Ernest “Micky” Finn of Youngsville; sister, Mary Powell of Wake Forest; brother, the Rev. Charlie Chappell of Henderson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Watkins Finn Sr.; son, Luther W. Finn Jr.; and one grandson.

Friends may visit with the family from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
